  • To establish relationship with NGOs/INGOs/GOs and other likeminded organizations for the sustainability of the programme.
  • To produce internal reports of programmes as well as programme learning report, success stories and material for the media.

Approaches

Community as the Directors: HOPE Nepal uses community as director for the design, planning and implementation of any kind of development activities in the community.  This approach prevents conflict and misunderstanding during the implementation phase rather increases participation and co-working environment.

Right-based Approach: HOPE Nepal respects all the principles (equity and equality, accountability, empowerment and participation) and elements of right based approach including linkage to right, accountability, empowerment, participation, non-discrimination and attention to vulnerable groups during implementation of the project activities.

Respect to Do-No-Harm Strategy: During the implementation of proposed project, HOPE Nepal ensures consensus decision-making, non-hierarchical decision making, conflict transformation and human rights protection along with respect to community’s perception, suggestions, their norms and values and indigenous knowledge system.

Social Mobilization: HOPE Nepal has been using the members of community by forming groups as semi-paid and unpaid volunteers to carry out its project interventions. In turn, they are provided with trainings on regular basis on community development and social mobilization. HOPE Nepal regards these groups as the keys to sustainable community development.
